Russian Philology

The master’s program is designed to prepare professional philologists with in-depth specialization, capable of solving complex problems that require a creative, non-standard approach. Their main field of activity is analytics, consulting, research and teaching. As a result of mastering the program, the student gains experience in literary, linguistic and cultural reflection; fundamental academic knowledge in the field of history and theory of literature, which is necessary for independent research work; skills related to analyzing, editing, and creating texts of various shapes and styles. Students of the master’s programs have the opportunity to participate in scientific interuniversity and international conferences and to publish in scientific publications of IvSU. And for those who want to develop their creative potential, there are the projects “Read on” (“Chitaem dalshe”) and “Slavic Club” (“Slavyanskij klub”).
