Jurisprudence

Within the framework of the bachelor’s degree program, the faculty trains general lawyers with fundamental basic training in the field of law, which can only be obtained at a classical university. Starting from the second year, there is an opportunity to improve students’ knowledge in three areas: state-legal, civil-legal and criminal-legal. According to them, students also practice, write term papers and final qualification papers. The Interuniversity Research and Educational Center for the Study of German Law, the Ivanovo branch of the Center for the Study of Roman Law, and the Public Laboratory for Criminal Law Research at the Oktyabrsky District Court of Ivanovo, created at the Faculty, contribute to the acquisition of solid legal knowledge. Students and teachers participate in scholarship programs funded by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). Agreements on cooperation with law enforcement agencies of the Ivanovo region have been signed, which willingly provide bases for internships for undergraduate students and employ graduates of the law faculty.
